Dr. Riley's interests are
broadly in lung biology and pulmonary
diseases. His particular interests are in
processing leading to scarring in lung
tissue and their treatment. Ongoing research
includes studies in humans with pulmonary
fibrosis and treatment protocols. Another
interest is in extracellular matrix biology
and current research is directed at
understanding the processes that cause skin
blistering (vesication) after injury by
chemical agents. |
