What
EOHSI Is Doing
Faculty members of the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences
Institute (EOHSI) are continuing to serve as advisors and analyzing data
from the areas around ground zero. They are also participating in community
forums with other NIEHS Centers of Excellence in the New York area. EOHSI
will continue to serve the community by providing expertise to those who
request it.
EOHSI on the Discovery
Channel: New
York Dust - 1/11/2002
EOHSI has been
contacted by the State of New Jersey regarding the issue of chemical and
biological terrorism. Members of EOHSI have been serving as scientific
advisors for various departments of the State. EOHSI will continue to
provide expertise to the State on this and other environmental and occupational
health issues.
We anticipate
our participation over the next few months will evolve. Planning for
an EOHSI workshop on chemical and biological terrorism in the Spring
2002 is currently underway.
